Attorney CM/ECF Registration


CMECF Registration :
After meeting training requirements, you should complete, sign, and mail to the Court the Electronic Case Filing Registration Form. Signing the form commits you to accept service electronically in lieu of paper service from the Court and from opposing counsel in any case in which you are the attorney of record.


Log-In and Password: After the Court receives and processes your form, staff will send you your user ID and password by email or US Mail. This will enable you to access the system and e-file documents and pleadings in the District Court. (You must obtain a separate login and password from Bankruptcy to e-file in Bankruptcy Court)

PACER Registration: Note that the CMECF login is a separate login from the PACER login, which you may obtain at

- The PACER login is used to query cases and case information.

- The CMECF login is used to e-file pleadings into the system.
