REQUESTING TRANSCRIPT OR A COPY OF AN AUDIO RECORDING

  • Appellate Transcript: To request an appellate transcript where an official court reporter was present at the proceedings, the requestor must complete the Tenth Circuit Appeals Transcript Order Form. Party requests must be electronically filed in CM/ECF. Non‐party requests must be emailed to UTDecf_Clerk@utd.uscourts.gov and clerk’s office staff will file the request in the case.

Party requests must be electronically filed in CM/ECF. CJA attorneys must use the CJA 24 Form and send their requests through eVoucher. • Transcript of a Sealed Proceeding: Cases or proceedings under seal require a court order before the transcript can be prepared. After a court order has been entered, the requestor must complete AO 435 Transcript Request Form. Party requests must be electronically filed in CM/ECF. Non‐party requests must be emailed to UTDecf_Clerk@utd.uscourts.gov and clerk’s office staff will file the request in the case. Court reporters must indicate on the title page that the transcript is sealed and provide a copy to the clerk’s office to file on CM/ECF consistent with the court’s internal process. More information about sealed transcripts is found in Sec. H. 5. of the Court Reporting Services Management Plan.

  • Audio Recording: If a court reporter was not present, and therefore the audio recording serves as the official record, a copy of the electronic sound recording may be obtained by completing AO 436 Audio Recording Form. CJA attorneys, the Federal Defender's Office, and the United States Attorney's Office should also use this form to request copies of audio recordings. Party requests must be electronically filed in CM/ECF. Non‐party requests must be emailed to UTDecf_Clerk@utd.uscourts.gov and clerk’s office staff will file the request in the case.

  • Transcript of an Audio Recording: To request a transcript of an audio recording, the requestor must complete AO 435 Transcript Request Form. Party requests must be electronically filed in CM/ECF. Non‐party requests must be emailed to UTDecf_Clerk@utd.uscourts.gov and clerk’s office staff will file the request in the case.
