The District of Utah has issued General Order 21-002, which provides guidance about the types of documents that might qualify as “highly sensitive documents” (HSDs) that must not be electronically filed in the court’s electronic filing system or emailed to the court. Because HSDs must be filed in paper, General Order 21-002 also sets forth the procedures for the filing, service, and management of HSDs. It also provides a procedure for requesting that the court remove from its electronic filing system HSDs that were filed in the past.
