The U.S. District Court for the District of Utah is scheduling downtime to perform software updates of its case management system, CM/ECF.

Electronic filing using CM/ECF will be unavailable from Friday, August 28, 2026, at 5:00 pm MST to Sunday, August 30, 2026, at 11:00 pm MST.

Documents with special circumstances will be accepted via email to utdecf_clerk@utd.uscourts.gov while efiling is unavailable. These documents will be limited to those with a statute of limitations deadline, emergency injunctive relief, notices of appeal, or other urgent matters. Documents emailed to the clerk's office will be deemed filed as of the date they were received and will be entered on the docket by the clerk's office staff as soon as practical.
