How to tell whether your PACER account is a Legacy or an Upgraded Account

  1. Open a web browser and navigate to
  2. Click "Manage My Account"
  3. Login to your PACER account
  4. Confirm that your name appears on the screen.  If it is not your account, please login with your account or create a new individual PACER account
  5. Your account type will be listed as “Legacy” or Upgraded.” If you have a “Legacy” account, you need to upgrade your account or create a new individual account.
